All tea come from the same plant, Camellia sinensis, it’s the
process the leaves go through that makes them different types of tea. Like wine and grapes…
White
Peonies white (D). A famous white tea from Funding, China. Produced by picking two leaves and one bud from the tea plant allows the light floral aroma with a cup of light floral hints and honeydew notes.
Green
Sen-cha ( low C). Our Japan sencha Kakawaga is very low caffeine, is also smooth with reasonable depth and body.
Longiing (Dragon Well Green Tea) ( D). One of China’s most famous green teas. Originates from Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, recognized for its flat spear-shaped leaves and fresh slightly nutty, chestnut-like flavor with toasty aroma.
Oolong Tea (C)
Our Ali Shan is a complex, flavorful oolong grown at a high altitude in the Ali Mountain range in central Taiwan. The leaves are green, though the taste is distinctly oolong, with a buttery mouthfeel and light, creamy, sweet grass flavor notes. Oolong tea is a traditional Chinese tea made from partially oxidized leaves.
Black/Pu-erh
English Breakfast, (C&D). One of the western world’s most popular teas, English Breakfast is a classic morning tea. It is a full-bodied blend of Indian, Ceylon, and Chinese tea with rich undertones and hints of maltiness, lightly bitter, and mildly sweet.
Earl Grey flavored w/bergamot orange oil organic (C&D). Our organic Classic Earl Grey can please even the most picky of Earl Grey lovers– with a bold Assam tea as the base and pure, organic bergamot oil used to flavor the leaves, it is an elevated version of one of the western world’s most popular teas.
Ceylon, Sri Lanka (D). Decaf Ceylon is a high-quality black tea in which the caffeine is removed but the flavor remains intact.
Assam India (C). Bold and sophisticated, our Assam Full Leaf is naturally slightly sweet and carries slightly less astringency than the Assam Broken Leaf. This tea is a perfect way to satisfy your need for caffeine in the morning, or as a pick-me-up later on in the day.
Black tea, Turkish (C). Only the most delicate, youngest leaves from the tea plant are selected and carefully processed for use in this tea in Turkey. It contains no additives and is a treat for any occasion.
